grilled steak with truffle butter (495 Php)

Tamim's order.6oz grilled US top blade steak topped with truffle herb butter, served with sauteed mushroom. It is very delicious but might be too heavy for the stomach.

asian buffalo wings (250 Php)

For appetizer, 6 pieces spiced chicken wings with a touch of Asian spices and honey cooked "buffalo style". I like it but it was too sweet. It comes with vegetabke sticks and blue cheese dressing. The green vegetable sticks which I don't know what to call are good for those who are into a strict diet according to Tamim.

My order. Blackened chicken fillet with cajun spice rub on sauteed bell peppers and onions dizzled with sour cream dressing served with parsley butter rice. I like it but as I said my appetite's not okay yet that's why I was not able to finish my plate. 

I wore this girly and casual outfit for a movie night with my boyfriend. It is still hard for me to wear tight clothing because of my abdominal pain.We watched 'The tree of life' and we really liked the movie. The movie's so good but you really have to focus to understand it. It is deep and it envisions life and death. If you did not focus while watching you might get lost and be confused because it is not like the usual movie. It features sci-fi and surrealist themes in which you really have to imagine and think deeper. I actually saw some in the cinema who did not finish the movie and I heard some who got bored and did not understand the film. After the movie we ate at Kulinarya kitchen, see posts above for the food desciption. Too bad my appetite's not okay yet so I ate very few even though I like the food so much. Btw, this may be my last movie date with my boyfriend for this year because he is heading back to his country on Tuesday. He is my usual movie buddy because we like the same movies and as well as with food.

Fely J's the newest on my list of favorite restaurants here in the Philippines. It offers Filipino and other Asian cuisine. I love the food so much and I went home so full. The ambience is good as well as their service.

We did a lot of walking that day riding MRT to Ortigas and going down on the wrong side resulting to more walking to Rob Galleria to hail a cab which was a failure. We had to cross to the other side to take the Quiapo bus which will pass Greenhills, the place where we were really heading. Tiring, true, but this walking resulted to nice street shots for my blog. :)

 You have to watch Mango's Fall 2011 video campaign and say hello to the gorgeous Kate Moss and one of the great Terry Richardson. Mango had a nice idea in combining them two for their Fall 2011 video campaign because both are one of the best in their respective fields in fashion. I always look after Kate Moss's style and Terry Richardson's shots. Mango's idea of combining the two for their fall 2011 video campaign is a sure win.

Nothing much happened this weekend because of the typhoon Egay. It was hard to go out  and I was sick for days. We had to order online but McDonald's service was crappy that time so we had to go to Albatra at Makati Avenue to eat. Tamim's friends were there for the Saudi Arabia football match and I was able to grab a time for blogging. Albatra is more known for shisha and for watching football match from all over the world .The internet connection at home was affected by the typhoon. It was so hard to take shots on the street because it was not allowed and kinda not safe. I also saw how prostitutes, mostly gays end their day waiting and waiting on the street trying to have their last chances to earn for the day. This scene did not make me feel comfortable especially seeing one gay prostitute passing in front of me and Tamim many times then lastly standing beside him while taking shots of me. I know it's for them to earn money but I still don't agree to this kind of job. It is degrading and these kind of people push most male foreigners to disrespect Filipinas.
